and research.
What’s GGIDC?
The Gambia Garden International Development Corps (GGIDC) is our remote fellowship program, connecting skilled, mission-aligned contributors with work that supports communities in The Gambia. Fellows serve 2–3 month terms, holding a named role within one of six departments. They join as fellows—not interns—and contribute to a structured international development program.
From sport and education to research, communications and infrastructure, fellows bring their expertise to the work of Gambia Garden. At the end of their term, they may request a Certificate of Fellowship Completion, issued by Gambia Garden and signed by its founding members. Fellows may also renew their term or explore a longer-term partnership.
Local insight. Lasting opportunity.
Our international research team explores financial technology, stablecoins, eye health, community development and agriculture across The Gambia and West Africa. Through GGIDC, fellows connect their expertise with local knowledge to inform practical action.
Our data collection team gathers firsthand information from farmers, local experts and communities across The Gambia. These insights help us identify where support is needed, evaluate partnerships and ventures, and share what we learn through our research.
