Agricultural Development

Our Vegetable Value Chain Baseline Survey gathers information from smallholder farmers, women’s garden groups and cooperatives across The Gambia who grow onions, tomatoes, peppers and other vegetables. It covers income, access to markets, support from farmer groups, the use of new farming practices, and household food and nutrition.

These findings establish a starting point for our programs, help identify where support is needed most, and allow us to measure our impact over time.
