GGIDC’s Eye Health Research is led by Research & Intelligence Fellow Srivarenya “Sriv” Vempati. The project reviews three national surveys spanning 1986 to 2019 and considers gaps in the evidence on eye disease.
The team is working with Dr. Winston Ceesay to support better understanding of local eye health needs. This is research and community development work, not a clinical service or a substitute for medical care.
